We want progress; we
want true dialogue and understanding; we want to move ahead on new
paths. We want to leave a trail for those who follow our path and take
the next steps. Those are the basic messages of the project. It
combines intercultural learning and interreligious dialogue. As a
highly challenging task it also combines established EU member states
(Great Britain, Germany), newcomers from the East (Lithuania) and
Mediterranean countries (Israel, Palestine, Egypt). The participants
share the inspiring variety of their cultural traditions and religious
origins. They acknowledge differences, explore what they have in common
and work out rules for a fair and intense interreligious dialogue. They
do so with devotion and a strong commitment. They work with
biographies, with statue theatre, with simulation games. They speak
with politicians. And in the end they will develop a documentary
presentation and a manual, which both include their messages for those
who want to start similar projects. A truly pioneers' work; an
excellent setting for a multiplyer effect. A serious and highly
up-to-date challenge - for a serious and highly up-to-date project. We
do not go for easy things. We are not newcomers in this highly
sensitive field. We can refer to former experiences in each country and
to concepts, which have been developed in both local activities and
international cooperation.

"Do not follow, where
the path may lead you. Rather go, instead, where there is no path and
leave a trail." Ralph
